Microlearning is a learning approach where content is broken into very short, focused units (often 3–10 minutes) that each cover a single skill or idea.

  • Content is delivered in small chunks, such as short videos, quizzes, text, podcasts, or mini-scenarios.

  • Each module targets one clear objective or question (for example, “how to log a near miss incident” instead of a whole Health and Safety course).

  • Learners access it on demand, usually via web or mobile, and can repeat modules as needed.
